This D.O. Valdepeñas Gran Reserva is produced 100% on Tempranillo grapes. It has 13% Vol. and has been aged in American oak barrels for 18 months.
It has a red cherry colour and It´s bold fruity flavor has a subtle spicy hint. Pleasant on the palate. Best served with red meat, strong cheese, paté and Iberian pork.
Its total acidity in tartaric acid is 4.7 – 4.9 gr/l and it´s Volatile acidity is 0.50 – 0.61 gr/l Total SO2: 90 – 110 mgr/l Residual sugar: <2 gr/l
Serving Temperature: 16 – 18º C. To decant before serving Serving Temperature: 16-18°C.
