This award confirms Finca Lomilla´s excellent characteristics
The world known and prestigious Decanter Magazine has published the results for the Decanter World Wine Awards 2016 (DWWA), and our Finca Lomilla Old Vines Garnacha 2015 has been awarded with a Bronce Medal, 88 points.
The results of the anual competition are published on Decanter‘s website and in Decanter‘s August edition and it is chaired by wine expert Steven Spurrier.
Once again the quality of Finca Lomilla Old Vines is being awarded, as this is it´s the 3rd price.
Last year Finca Lomilla was given 88 points by the Guia Peñín, and also won Gold Medal in The Portugal Wine Trophy 2015.
Decanter is published in more than 90 countries on a monthly basis and is one of the leading wine magazines, read by experts and wine enthusiasts from all over the world.

We are proud to announce that our Finca Lomilla, Garnacha Old Vines, has won gold medal in the international competition The Portugal Wine Trophy 2015.
The competition, which is part of the Berlin Wine Trophy, took place for the first time in 2014. In Porto more than 50 jury members from Portugal and many other countries came to taste and evaluate the surprising number of over 1,000 different samples from all around the world.
Finca Lomilla Garnacha is a wine that appeals to both new world and old world palates. Finca Lomilla is a coupage of grapes proceeding from over 40 years old vines.
The wine is produced on Garnatxa (80%), Merlot (10%) and Syrah (10%). Finca Lomilla has been aged in French and American oak barrels for 3-4 months.
Brilliant ruby. Exotically perfumed bouquet of ripe dark fruits and flowers, with spice and mineral nuances adding vibrancy. Juicy, penetrating and intensely fruity, offering sweet, deep blackberry flavors.
