Calderona, Rosé 2005

Made by
12 hours maceration with a 100% de-stemmed grape. Afterwards it
undergoes a centrifuge before fermentation begins. The “pie de cuba”
(yeast starter) is added to a clean must and fermentation takes
place at a controlled temperature of 16-18 °C. Then, wine is finned
and stabilized so tartrates precipitate out before wine is bottled.
Colour:
Cherry pink with violet undertones, clean and brilliant.
Aroma:
Ripened fruit, very harsh on the nose.
Mouth
Clean with well-balanced acidity level and pleasant, lasting
aftertaste. Full-bodied, clean and lingering.

Calderona Elite, Rosé 2005 -
Cigales D.O.
Cold maceration with carbonic snow during
52 hours and fermented at a controlled temperature of 13ºC.
Colour:
Raspberry-Pink. Nose Very fruity, from the raspberry and
redcurrant range, strong and clean. Palate Cool, fruity,
balanced and full of flavour. With a very long, persistent finish
(raspberry).
Considered best rosé from the D.O. Cigales in 2004
