Mondéjar The MONDEJAR wine Denomination includes/understands the municipalities of Guadalajara de Zorita, Albares, Almoguera, Almohacid de Zorita, Driebes, Escariche, Clears the earth from, Fuentenovilla, Illana, Loranca de Tajuña, Mazuecos, Mondejar, Pastrana, Pioz, Well of Almoguera, Sacedon, Sayaton, Valdeconcha, Yebra and Zorita de Canes which altogether forms an extension of 93,962 You have. The zone of production includes 2,100 Has. that they are divided in 1.423 in the Term of Mondejar, and 240 Has. in the Term of Sacedón. In general terms, it is a zone of transition between the southern edge of the Barren plateau, and the northern limit of the plateau of Mesa de Ocaña, to the South. The considered perimeter belongs to a the river basin of the Edge, being the this and Tajuña the most important channels of the water that they run in direction NE-SO. The region on the one hand has therefore a tubular morphology and fitted rivers, and extensive inclines and plains by another one, with an average altitude of 800 M.s |
