Torre de Barreda

The wine is pumped-over 8 times a day during 16 days at a fermentation controlled temperature of 28 °C. Subsequently, the wine is run-off and left to settle in concrete deposits before barrels are filled.  Aged for 3 months in semi- new American oak barrels and ages another 3 months in the bottle before it is launched on the market. 

Fat and sumptuous with loads of chocolaty black fruits. Still masses of ripe tannin, with truly wonderful cedary sweet oak and an excellent finish.

Torre de Barreda, Selección

Attractive dark colour with cherry tones of good intensity. Clean and with nice tones of root tile and brilliant hues of tobacco. Aromas of well-ripened black fruits, of good intensity, and well covered with overtones of spiced leathers of good ageing, over echoes of cedar and cocoa. In the mouth it presents itself very powerful, balanced, with a good acidity and noble tannins, tasty, meaty and full. A rounded, ample a long aftertaste.

Torre de Barreda, Amigos

Deeply dressed in dark red cherry, with a good cloaking, clean and brilliant with reflections of medium evolution which recall roof tile. Aromas of ageing with a predominance of new wood over and elegant and perfumed base of spices and mature black fruits, well mixed with balsamic traces. In the mouth it is lively, with a well integrated, magnificent acidity and a passage that is dense, full, silky and oily, with an ample ending, profound in tastes and well structured. Long is its retronasal effect.
